Poppys Jerusalem War Cemetery

These had been placed underneath the part of the wall at Jerusalem War Cemetery on the Mount of Olives on which is listed the names of members of the Australian Light Horse who served in the Sinai Palestine campaign in World War I for whom there is no known grave. The Australian Light Horse section of the wall is tiny in comparison to the vastness of the British losses. Still, one is one too many.
