Planted

Nasty, nasty 'Build Up' weather in Darwin so I locked myself away in air-conditioning (it was that or commit murder and from what I've heard murder is so hard to cover up these days) and executed my first ever stencil. Started from scratch with a reference photo. Finished with something I like. In the big big world of human endeavour not much but luckily my world ain't that big. Thank you to my WA friend Liz whose plant it is, and renowned Australian artist Margaret Preston from whom I drew inspiration and my art friend Betty. Last time we got together for an art afternoon we actually got a bit intelligent about exploring the works of Margaret Preston and how she done her stuff!
